I didn't know about beans and nitrogen either, thanks for the info. I only have a small garden now, planting boxes mostly. I was told that tomatoes wouldn't grow well because we live so close to the ocean the salt will attack the stalks and weaken them so they can't bear the fruit. Anybody know about this?
