Now that you mention it, there is that theory called mass hysteria. Most people can't remember warm winters from earlier, it must all be starting now. My dad remembers riding his bike outside in January. It's like the infamous quote on a day when it's 40 degrees above average-"Damn global warming." It's creating more crap than it really deserves. According to measurements, we're on average 1/2 a degree warmer. I don't think that this was due to global warming at all.
