Lets be realistic. It would be millions of dollars to adjust the structure of these windmills to fix the solution. Plus I personally think they are great! They are clean and for once, do not pollute our environment compared to other sources of energy. There must be solutions to the problem. For example, finding areas where the bat population is low, or what Chiron Rising and Raptor235 suggested about repelling the bats with a signal they understand. Nothing is perfect in this world
