Default Re: Boycott high gas prices.

Me too. I got very blunt in my last message on that forum about what people were saying.

Quote:
f the oil companies aren't delivering oil, they'd be feeling the pain of a boycott as well, not just the gas stations.

I still haven't filled up, and it's been 5 days. Sure they're not hurting because of just one person, but think of the impact of millions of people doing the same thing.

Even if it's on a weekend when people don't go out as much, maybe that would still drive the message home.

Gas prices are far too high, and something needs to be done.

By people sitting and not doing anything, the prices will continue to stay high.

Making a stand and starting to fight for something important like this will make a difference.

Another idea I just had is to start a petition, get as many people to sign it, then broadcast it all over the news, send it to the government officials, the oil companies and anywhere else people think it should go.

Simply saying it's not a good idea means you're part of the problem or that you don't care to help fix it. That's sure what it seems like to me.
