I also recycle greeting cards, but I send far less than I used to, I just send cards to close family really. Everyone else gets an e-card as it is cheaper and doesn't use paper. I don't send many Christmas cards either, a few years ago my cousin sent a note in all his cards to say that in future he would make a donation to charity instead of sending cards. Since then I have followed his example, and I can still send my good wishes by email.
