Another good way to lower your freezer expense by keeping it full. Take a baggie and fill it with ice cubes and close it up. If someone needs an ice pack it's already there. If company comes and you want to make something tall and cool to drink, you've already got your cubes. Otherwise, they just stay in the freezer, lowering your electricity bill.
