Planet earth is constructed around natural systems. These systems are self sustaining energy capture networks that recycle material back into the system. Human systems are constructed to monopolize the energy from natural systems. The end result is that natural systems are interrupted and lose energy capture pathways (eg. diversity). We need to be more respectful of the natural systems that are the basis for functioning human systems.
