"Why did Bush start the war? Part of it was because of 9/11. BUT I think there's more to it. He's a power hungry person OF power who can do what he wants. He also likes to be in the spotlight.
Sure, Bin Laden crashed a few planes and killed a few thousand people. I don't think his men were thinking about their families when they did what they did."
This is what bothered me. Perhaps you should think about how public this forum is and realize that there are people on here are that are still hurting from 9/11. True you may speak your mind all you want. True I don't have to read. As I ahve said before, I've been to the funeral services. I've smelled the smoke. I woke up that morning with thee towers in tact and then for months woke up to their absence. I consider myself lucky for waking up... The men who crashed those planes knew exactly what they were doing. Not only that, but remember there were families on those planes with them... To say that starting a war after for his own gain is a bold statement and incredibly insensitive. the war was originally declaired on terrorism, Iraq was the after thought. Every one has problems with the war with Iraq, even I agree to that. Its only been 5 years. 9/11 ... People are making movies, the rest of the world is moving on. Not here. So to make a statement like that is hurtful. My complaining that I am the only republican was simply a request for others to be angry with me. Egh I'm 22 I'm rash and arrogant at times. whatever.
