Hey all. As your newly promoted adminstrator, I'd like to welcome you to partake in a new contest I"m starting.

This is to get users actively posting and get this forum bubbling again.

We've been online for over 2 years, and it's exciting to see a forum last with many more years to go.

Now, on to the contest.

This is a posting contest. Posters who meet the minimum requirements will win the prizes set out below.

Now, there will be 3 winners to this contest.

1st prize will be 3 months of unlimited advertising on a few sites I have advertising credits on. I will also provide signature line advertising on some forums.

2nd prize will be 2 months of unlimited advertising on the same sites, including the signature line ads.

3rd prize will be 1 month of the same.

Advertising includes text ad links, banner ads(which I have millions of) and signature urls.



Posting will only be counted in the following categories:

News and Discussions

Alternative Energy

DIY Topics


All threads started must be original content, or credit must be given if you supply information that isn't original or your thread doesn't count.

All posts will have to meet the minimum character count of 40 words or that post will not be counted.

At the end of the contest period, the top 3 posters will be announced. At that time, the winners will be asked to provide the banner links or website URLs of the programs they would like promoted.

Contest will start February 1st at 12:01am EST. Contest end will be on February 14th at 11:59pm EST.

February 5th update:

So far there are 3 people in the running for this contest, and currently it's a tie for 2nd place.

Get posting but do remember the rules.

This contest has been put on hold until I can get back online properly.

My modem is dying and my computer is getting worse. There's no way I can get online easily to deal with this contest right now.

I leave it suspended as of February 5th's update, I have the information I need to continue with it when I reopen it.

When it reopens, it will continue from that day, posts are not counted from the days in between.

I don't know when I'll get back online, but once I'm back, you'll know.
