What is the IMDB? I've never heard of it before. As for the movie, it is about the ice packs melting and creating unusual storms in the Atlantic. It doesn't take long for New York to be completely underwater and frozen.

I didn't know anything like that existed! Now I know where to go to check on new movies or movies there are rumors about. Thank you very much for explaining.

I bought the DVD, Roguegal. It's pretty scary as a scenario when it comes down to it. While I doubt we'll see that in our lifetimes, I don't think it's never going to happen. Our politicians seem hell bent on hurrying it along.
