Speaking of gangs, my God, our nieghborhood was hit with taggers the other day right across from my place, which by the way is for sale. So when someone comes to look at it they walk out the front door and see tagging, what a great last impression.

Please keep in mind only a few areas in Arizona have a pollution problem. Phoenix has a pollution cloud and one is starting to form over Tucson and these are the biggest cities. I live in a beautiful rural area with clear blue skies and most of Arizona is like this. Take a look at our population list, it reflects this, and on the map you'll see most of the bigger cities on the list are all grouped around Phoenix.

Here's an article about what causes the brown cloud, apparently taking their car keys away would help . Brown Cloud - Phoenix Air Pollution - Bad Air in Phoenix

I have flown into Phoenix several times in the last year and yes, there is a pollution cloud that sits right over your town. It used to be, back some years ago, that LA was the only city that had a pollution cloud but now it is in so many places. Palm Springs has one that you can see driving in from the west. It's a very sad thing.

Tell me about it! I live in Phoenix. I remember looking up into the sky in seeing a beautiful blue. Now I look into the sky I see a dingy gray blue sky. I wish somebody would invent a humongous big fan to blow away. Because the Santa Ana winds do not do much good.

I'm lucky to live in a rural unincorporated part of Arizona where there are farmers and ranchers. It is far away from Phoenix, but I've seen the cloud in air quality webcams and the news.

ya I have my condo for sale, I wanna move to Colorado, or some place like that with lots of trees and seasons. I'm just sick of this gross air quality, I wake up everyday with groggy head and froggy throat.

Phoenix used to be the place to move to for your health. Not anymore. Now when they do the news weather they give out air quality advisors. They didn't have that when I was growing up. So we live in Phoenix and have a long troubles, move.

Taggers got a few big rocks on the jetty where the river and ocean meet. They sprayed, it seems, their initials, which ironically enough, were illegible and indecipherable. I really enjoy the very artful graffiti, but these bozos couldn't even manage it. AND (sorry, I'm still steamed about this!) tagging is for buildings in industrial areas, NOT on living, thriving nature. One good thing about our stormy coast is that the salt water and sand will erase it in a couple of years.

Did you know that they have a new paint out just for taggers? Some guy developed a few years back. You paint your wall with it and when taggers tag it, all you need is water and a hose. Then all you do is wash away. Otherwise you need to sand blasted off. Of course it doesn't help with rocks and cars or Windows. But it sure makes it easier to clean a brick wall.

I had heard that paint like that was being developed; I'm glad that there is paint like that. In Eugene, OR there are designated walls that can be tagged, or at least they did when I lived there. There were some gorgeous, artful stuff on the walls. Hope it's still that way.
