How long is your commute to work and is it by public transit?

I work at home at the moment, but when I wasn't I would always bike, run or walk. Now as part of my wildlife photography I still have to travel but it is always by train.

my current commuite is by train also and takes about 20 mins... 50 mins door to door

I used to commute 33 miles by car from the Washington, DC suburbs to downtown D.C. Ironically I commuted in a car at first, and then SUV, to work for environmental causes. Duh! Because of the terrible traffic situation here it used to take me about 2 hours to get to work and about an hour and a half to get home. Fortunately I now work from home as a stay at home mom and freelance writer. Much easier commute...  |

Just under an hour by bus and subway. It would be 15 mins by car if I had one.

I find that communiting by car gets expensive very fast.. especially if you're working in a downtown area...

usually about an hour. by train this is about expected. by bus and subway it can range from 45 mins to 1 1/2 hrs.

If the place I looked at today was nicer, my commute would take 20 mins by bus. It would have been nice, but the place was a dump. : |

My commute is 1.5 hours by transit. It would only take me less than 30 minutes if I drove. That's one-way only, so 3 hours/1 hour total.

The "career" I have currently is delivering pizza. SO, I have to drive to work. I do however take the bus to get around the giant college campus. The way they have that set up is that a bus comes every fifteen minutes, so it is pretty convenient. It takes usually less than fifteen or twenty minutes to get from one side of the campus to the other. Good deal! ;D
