I dozed off, and woke up just a few minutes ago, and I found all the lights on in the house.

My husband doesn't understand the conept of turning off the lights for something important like this.

I had to fight with him to get him to turn the lights off, he did nothing but complain about it.

Maybe next year will be better.

I hadn't heard of Earth Hour, but I've just looked it up. Sounds very much like the day in the UK a little while ago, though better advertised if this is the second one.

Looks like i've missed it this year, but I've bookmarked the page to have a read through some of the advice later on.

Yes, I think it would have helped if they would have announced this more and let people know about it. I seen it all over the news this morning but hardly anything leading up to it?

I did see some news before and after the day. Not as much as I had expected though. Google had their home page with a black back ground in honor of the event.

I never heard of Earth Hour. (It's the beginning of baseball season and my hubby's fantasy teams, so we've been a bit "otherwise occupied"). I hope to find out about it so we can observe it next year. Earth Day itself took such a long time to break into most people's consciouness, now it's everywhere, on the news etc. Hopefully this will, also.

I completely forgot about it until I was told that it was going on the day after. I really wish I would've done it because it's a really easy step to take and is a great example for the whole world to see that dip in energy use for even one hour.

I guess some people just didn't care enough about Earth Hour to let others know about it. I guess it shows you that t.v stations don't seem to care as much as they claim.

Hopefully next year it will be on t.v, in the newspapers and on the radio.

Well if anybody ever hears of an "Earth Hour" again, what the rest of us know. And post the URL so that we can investigated or so well.
