That's really great.. next step I would think is adding solar panels to them... you could put some in the back windshiled where the speakers are... or get those rubber ones and actually fit them on the top of the roof... it's not going to be much power but you'll get some charge leaving your car outside your work...

The company is Hymotion, below is a list of Plug-in Hybrid companies from the plug in america site, I have seen the device in action and it sites in the spare tire well, it's about the size of a large suitcase.

hey anyone ever hear about the ev-1? it was an all eletric car built i believe in 1997 by gm. from what i've read it would reach speeds of 80mph and had decent range also... as the story goes, they sold a couple thousand of them in california and people loved them.. then for some reason they were all recalled and destroyed!! there was a documentary film about them made recently but i havn't seen it.. i guess there was a lot of big oil companies, that own lots of stock in gm, threatening them to remove the ev-1... i know it sounds crazy but from the little reading i've done sounds kike it might be true...
