Default Toilets That Conserve Water

These are great things. We have one of these. Home Depot sells them. They conserve so much water. Telamode (the environmental company I work for) works side by side with a lot of lo-flow toilet and all of that.

So, who has one of these...

To save water usage in toilets:

1. If it's yellow let it mellow.

2. Take a 1 litre bottle, remove the label, fill with sand or rocks or water, put the cap back on, place in tank. This reduces how much water the tank uses. Remember displacement. It's worked for me before.

Our local library uses the toilets and they're awesome!! I think if you're a new building or just getting to renovate, this is a great option.

composit toilets are for the extreme tree hugger.. turns ur waste into compost and fertilizer. not for food gardens because it is possible for some bacteria that might survive to be transfered into fruits and veggies but it is great for flowers and trees...

Wow, energy saving toilets! Nice post!

If we are not privileged to have these toilets, if you pee you can just close the lid and re-pee can't you? I believe in Japan my friend told me they use the water from the sink or something to be used for the toilet water instead of clean water. Makes sense so we may consume twice the amount. It's where we put our bodily waste! Who needs clean water for that!
