Hey, there's a new school being built in our area that will be environmentally sound. The eco-friendly features will include water efficiency, energy use reduction and use of regional materials. The school's parking lot and playground will be sited in a way to save trees

True, true. But it all has to start somewhere. Might as well be this neighbourhood. I hope that when people see how awesome this could be, they'll jump on the bandwagon. Just think, all the money the school could save in terms of money by not having to pay for certain energies...then they could reinvest that money into supplies or other eco friendly learning materials.
