And lest we all forget what made US great, it is commerce

Instead of whining about oil prices, insinuating the illuminati presidency and oil,
Ladies and Gents, here's how it's done

If this is a viable technology it will filter down into "normal" models- the ones we non Ferrari drivers drive. I saw a big throaty red one last week- it made me tingle- of course the guy had a cell phone plastered to his head when I pulled up along side him!

I digress, Many features in cars filter down from the racetrack- I love Formula 1 cars. Over the years safety and performance improvments of our humble street cars have filtered down from these and NASCAR race cars.

Now we have a hot hot (and sold out) Tesla electric car and this will likely be the impetus for the same technology in an everyday version, or whatever mirrors the electric Tesla

It can go 250 miles in one journey. It requires and overnight change to do another 250 miles, our air will be clean and we will have to stop overnight in places we hadn't before- If we pressed for time we'll fly- or take the AMTrak- I love the train...I take it 7-8 times a year if not more.

Think of the change in our culture (I'm warming up to this overnight idea) and the change in the geo-politics of oil. There will be a shift if these guys can pull this off. Most of use would give up some distance for clean air and politics!
