I don't have cable, and from what I understand, that's going to be a problem next year as we will be required to move on to digital. Will I need to waste money on a new TV or just on equipment to add to my old TV?

I live in UK and we have a system where retailers have to tell you where to recycle your old electrical equipment, but most rely on you having a vehicle and being able to take it to a recycling centre.

I think, according to the commercials, that you need to get yourself some kind of converter box. There seems to be loads of coupon offers to offset the cost; usually there's a phone number or web address where you can access more info.

I have read about a new laptop, an Apple, I think (?), that is made from totally-recyclable material. I hope that this idea catches fire with all the computer companies.

That's a GREAT idea, Tag. I know that I would be much more inerested in the promise of paying a lower price for my new electronic if I turned in my old one.

That's excellent news! I'd dearly like to see one and try it out. Think about it, recycled computers! That's absolute progress...
