That $189 billion will produce a lot more money too. China is already the biggest producer of windmills and either first or second in solar panel production.
Canada and the US really missed the boat here...we could be selling technologies to China. Instead we're going to end up buying them. Let's hear it for short-sighted politicians with their heads jammed firmly in the tar sands. |

I think China is feeling the effects of their pollution rather quickly and no one there can logically argue against renewable energy. Unfortunately it is only a matter of time over here till we see more of an effect and then our government will step in.
