$189 BILLION investment in renewable energy. I guess we would have to
be dreaming in 3d technicolor to see that type of large investment in alt energy. Another example of other countries leaving the U.S. in the dust and falling further behind the rest of the world, regards tallex China will invest 1.5 trillion yuan (US$189 billion) to increase the ratio of renewable energy consumption Renewable energy all I can say is great!!!! amazing and hopefully others can follow |

China is catching up to the rest of the world in everything including pollution, luckily they are also getting ahead in renewable energy. I wish America would do the same considering it uses a majority of the world's energy.

So often I forget. America is 2 continents undevidable. The United States sits on a part of 1 of them. Canada is leading out continent with biodiesel production and alternative crop explorations, like Hemp: seed for energy, and fiber for Wood replacements, and Cannabis for medication. In America we use to be able to pay our taxes with Hemp until (1906). Them Hemp for Victory followed wwII drained finances with a viable alternative. One that got bad press, and never was utilized. I heard someone from Dow chemical talk about there energy consumption, and that they produce 2/3 of their energy needs. They are also one of the largest buyers of Soybeans( Quality bio-D) in the state I'm from.

USA will eventually invest more into renewable energy ( Once when Bush leaves ) I mean if you think about it, the main way to fight pollution is by getting every single person in the world to help. We never were so lazy as in throwing our trash randomly then I bet the world would be a lot more cleaner. I mean we have so many land fills and dumps its not even funny. We need to find a productive way to take out all the trash and recycle what we can.
