This place promotes environmental awareness through its eco-programs for school children and ecological gardening workshops for adults.

A couple of years ago, due to funding cuts by the city, they lost their recycling contract. But just recently, they lost their educational funding. They lost it because of some misunderstanding of paperwork.

To me, it's quite sad. The total contract was less than $15,000 per year but provided great education to children and youth.
