Re: Bike to Work Week
Well, I am sure that whether we want to our not we will be forced to bike, walk etc. In Toronto the traffic is getting so thick in the city that there has been discussion of banning people from driving downtown. I think its a great idea, but they would have to put more trains and street cars on the line.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could bike to work AND the ocean just happened to be on your route! Gorgeous shot, housefinch!

Re: Bike to Work Week
Biking is great and all, but going to work on a bike might take a while for me. Plus now days with the smog levels, you start to sweat a feel sticky and yucky. Has anyone else experienced this? Our air quality stucks.

Re: Bike to Work Week
I don't bike to work (as it would be difficult from White Rock to Vancouver) with 2 kids and to drop them off at 2 different daycares before going to work! LOL!
However, does your work have a shower or anything. My place of work does and a lot of co-workers do use it. Yes, it's more work and you have to get there early. But it's an option.

If I don't feel like bus / subway, I'll take my bike. anything to not use a car. greentom is definitely right, nothing worse than that orange/brown layer over the city every day...
