I just think that people need to be more conservative with their driving - perhaps take public transportation more often or not go to that friend's house three towns over just to hang out. We need a long-term modification of behavior so we can shift the demand curve down permanently.

Unfortunately I'm a landscaper and drive everywhere, so there's nothing I can do to ease up on my driving.
