A long and tiring drive brings me to today, posting pics and info on the trip we took.
Out of 17 roller coasters, we rode 12 of them. We couldn't ride a few of them, others we just didn't want to ride, but the ones we did ride, we had a blast on.
It was a long trip, but very successful.
The trip started on Friday with us up at 3am, and leaving half an hour later.
By 7am, we were about an hour and a half away from the border and it started to rain. I went to the last service station in Canada and got breakfast.
We got to the border, didn't have to wait very long to cross over, paid $4 for the toll and were on our way for the rest of the drive.
We got down to our campsite at around 10:30am, and checked in. Put up the tent, relaxed for a bit, then drove up to the park(Cedar Point) to look around.
We wound up riding a few rides, took lots of pictures and just chilled out.
Friday night found us in a heat lightening storm, that turned out to be a wicked thunder storm that lasted a while and soaked our tent through. We had to get a tarp the next day, but it didn't rain again.
Saturday we had a great time starting on the good rides, taking more pictures and exploring the park.
On Sunday we spent a good part of the day riding some rides, then hit the water park. We were quite surprised at how warm the water was, it was a pleasant change from what we're used to up here, which is very cold.
Monday was our anniversary, and the weather was nice, and we did some of the bigger rides. They were crazy.
Tuesday was a day for re-rides, and we had more fun going on some of them again.
We packed up yesterday morning, happy but not wanting to leave, as we'd had too much fun.
We got home around 4:30pm, about 8 hours after leaving the camp site.
So without further ado, and in no order at all, here are some pics.(lots of them)
Welcome to our trip. The park.
The Cedar Point train is a great little ride through part of the park. Liked seeing the patriotism on this train.
310 feet up, North America's first Giga coaster, Millenium Force. We didn't ride this, we had a few reasons not to.
Haha, very funny. Still trying to figure out what neat creatures are.
Bird waiting for a train.
205 feet up, this is a ride we did twice, Magnum XL 200. Awesome ride for sure.
Can't get these at home.
Won't do these rides. The second one is the signature ride of the park, Top Thrill Dragster. But the G forces on it would have made me pass out.

420 feet up.
Don't know exactly what this is.
Insane little coaster here.
This is a model of Mean Streak. This gives you an idea of how expansive this coaster is, my new favorite ride of all time.
I don't know when they took this out of the park, but I'm sure it would have been a great one to go on. Would have been a long ride.
Neat clock in the museum at the park.
Info on the racing coaster, Gemini, a great, freaky coaster.
Have you ever seen this before? I hadn't until I saw this guy doing it, haha.
Haha, this is so cute.
He's licking the fence. Seriously.
Turkey time, lol.
We couldn't resist when we saw this.
Going nowhere fast.
