Micheal Phelps
Has anyone been watching him this Olympics? I have never seen one person that is so much like a fish in the water. I am glad the he did what he set out to do.

Re: Micheal Phelps
I have come to the conclusion that he is a dolphin in human form! It has to be the only explanation. Watching him come from a full body length behind to win is absolutely amazing. So he has to be a dolphin in disguise!

Re: Micheal Phelps
I hate to say that I've heard it's because of the $700 swim suit he has, and that he's the only one who has it.
If that's the case, he's had an unfair advantage from day 1.

Re: Micheal Phelps
Well, if you are watching this Olympics you would also know that, that is only part of the reason. Yes, it has increased the speed of many swimmers and not just the US swimmers. But, you have to be pretty fast to begin with to be able to increase your speed which is the aid of a swimsuit.

Re: Micheal Phelps
I totally understand.
I was listening to the radio the other day, and they were talking about how tall he his, and how long his arms are, and that helped him as well.

Tater, researchers are actually studying phelp's swimming style and have found out that he is the closest man to have a dolphin like swimming capacity.!!

Re: Micheal Phelps
I agree with you that the swimsuits helped but he did train extraordinarily hard for this Olympics. I did not know that researchers were actually studying him though.

Re: Micheal Phelps
yes...a research has been going on about the way dolphins swim and when they were thinknig about a human counterpart, the researchers knew it was only Phelps who was a close competitor. Imagin, him in race with a dolphin to see who is the fastest...

Re: Micheal Phelps
Well, didn't I say I thought he was a dolphin in human form? But I definitely would enjoy reading any research about this study. Can you provide a URL for everybody to check it out?

Re: Micheal Phelps
Now that would be a race I would make sure to watch. The way he swims he would probably give the dolphin a run for his money.
