It was a preview of what's in store for the winter.
We went shopping yesterday for a snowblower and all other supplies needed for snow clearing.
It was hard driving yesterday afternoon, took me 2 and a half hours to get home, on a drive that normally takes only an hour.
Got up at 3am to leave here at 3:30am to go clear snow. Got home at 5:30pm.
18 properties later, we were done in 9 and a half hours. Not a lot of driving time though.
We had it easy though, the temperature hovered just below freezing and a lot had melted by the time we got to our last few stops. So there wasn't much to do then.
However, once the snow falls more, we'll be looking at 12 hour work days plus the driving, which was about 3 hours today, not including the commute down(1 and a half hours) and the hour long commute home.
The only reason the driving was taking so long was because I don't have snow tires yet, and was skidding despite having about 800pounds of stuff in the car.
I wish I had taken a picture of how beautiful it was today.
This is north of me, we didn't get that much snow.
