You know, if you hadn't posted, I'd have forgotten about this completely.


Well, bad news settles in yet again.

Yes, you guessed it, we are being thrown out of this apartment.

We're looking to move in September but are finding it hard to find an apartment.

I refuse to live in another basement, this one has been bad ever since we moved in.

Sure it's been warm, but it's very damp, and it's noisy upstairs, outside and next door.

A tree branch fell on my car and caused some decent damage, we broke the back gate and had to fix it, we discovered a couple of weeks ago some pretty bad termite damage to our stuff in storage.


Work hasn't been going well, and with the strike, all hell is breaking loose.

My van is all but breaking down, I don't have the finances to fix it, and if it dies, there goes my job.



Bad luck, it doesn't come in 3's, it comes in more than that.


I have a couple of new online ventures, but they haven't paid yet, so I have to continue to wait on those.


I need a miracle to get me through this one.

I was supposed to find out today if we were approved to move into a townhouse, but no word yet and I'm starting to freak out.

7 straight days of work, as of tomorrow, and I don't know when I'll get the time off.

I really can't wait to get out of this apartment, I drove into the shed today and dented it pretty badly. I am so tired of having to park in the backyard.

who are you waiting on for this approval? Is there anything you can do to hurry it along?

Waiting for the rental company to do all their checking and whatnot, there's no way to speed it along. It's only supposed to take 24 hours, but they only got the information yesterday I would think. At least they were supposed to.

We'd be moving on the 1st if we were approved.


Edit: Just after posting I got the call. We have been denied the house. We're back at square one and wondering if we'll have a roof over our heads in the coming months.

No news is usually good news, but not in this case.

No news just means that. Nothing has happened, but we're still trying to find something.

I try to stay positive but it's not easy.

Well, it seems like luck is finally changing.

We move in 2 weeks to a 2 storey apartment right across from where we are now. Now I don't have to park in a backyard.


It's ironic how we found the place. My husband went for a walk last week and thought someone was moving into the place, but she said it was for rent.

So we looked at it, found it to be great and wound up signing a lease.

We're happy, I can't wait to move over there.

You should get a paying job instead of spending all your time posting 2000 times on forums.

That way you can pay your bills. Just a thought

And I do have a paying job, that money is going on bills.
