I'm not sure what exact history the Humber River in Toronto holds, but it does hide some mysterious secrets.
The other day, John, and a friend of ours and I went down to the river. Our friend told us that he'd found some relics he thought were from the Civil War.
I don't think they're Civil War era, more like the Indian/French war era. We were told that an Indian burial ground was in the area, the area has history dating back 12,000 years. I can't find the history unless I go to the archives or to the Library to try to find it.
So, while we were down there, our friend told us that there was a musket gun under the concrete where we were looking, and finally discovered pellets, probably from a musket gun.
There was a range of things there, and I'm still trying to uncover more of these balls. I have another bag of earth to go through, found 50+ pieces today so far.
I have put this up on eBay for auction, hopefully there's money to be had there.
Let me post some pictures so you can see what we found.
