Default Natural remedies for a cold.

When you get a cold, there are some alternatives to aspirin or paracetamol that are more natural may be a bit healthier.

I like a tea made out of real grated ginger and a bit of chilli - this is really good for colds, you feel some sense of relief as you drink it, and it also alleviates the sore throat a bit.

Also, a bit of chilli powder in a cocoa is quite good.

If you live in Japan, or have access to Japanese foods, an infusion of umeboshi, (pickled plums), and grated ginger is good.

A sandwich with horseradish and onions makes me feel better when I've got a cold.

The most natural remedy is to work the kind of job I have. Fight it off naturally with body heat. I find that doing so will lessen the amount of time that I'm sick.

something I have found that works really really well for colds or flu, is extract of Oregano oil. its expensive but it works like nothing else. Just put 2 or 3 drops under the tongue and hold it there as long as possible, its feels like taking 100 halls at once or something,. clears you right up.

I hate the thought of that. I hate halls, so I couldn't imagine using that remedy. I think I'll just stick to work.
