What if it's your last day on earth?
What would do today if you knew that at the end of the day, that's it it's your last day on earth..

If it was just me dying I would spend it having fun with those I loved and end the day dying doing something crazy on my terms. Like not pulling a parachute. Oh and tie up my affairs so the money and property I have would go where I wanted it to.

I know I wouldn't live it like any normal day, for the simple reason that it's my last day. I would spend the day doing what I love with the people that I love.

Should you not be trying to do that every day though? Otherwise what's the point...

Personally if I found that out I'd be too busy wondering if there was anything beyond death and hoping that if there was I'd be headed in the right direction.

I really hate thinking about what's after death... I feel that I know that there probably isn't anything and that we just stop... which is very very scary but then you have that little ray of hope that our mind goes to another level and we continue to survive... I hate thinking about death..

matc: I don't have much of a life right now with work, so I can't live every day like it's my last.
Raptor: I have felt the exact same way for years. When I esperienced my very first death at age 8, I would have nights that I'd work myself up into such a state of fear that I would have to look out my window just to calm down. 19 years later, I still have problems with it, and I've gone through 3 more deaths in the family since then. Every time I start to think about death, I have to distract myself and do something else. The fear isn't as strong as it was back then, but it's still there.

I don't think there is anything after death, but I use that as a reason to enjoy everyday. I might die tomorrow (and I very nearly did after the car accident - I was so lucky to survive it.)
Horselover: Work was getting in the way with me so I decided to pack it in and at least try to get somewhere in the things I love doing. Writing, wildlife photography and making a difference. I don't have as much money now but I am a lot happier, for me it's worth it.

Mat, if I tried to live the way you do now, I'd be homeless. We have no savings, and are in debt and trying to climb out of it. That's why I work and take a lousy job, but the pay is decent and that's what matters.
