Here are My pics

Just a run down...

1. Highway pic that was ride for heart in toronto... that day the city was amazing no cars on the highway - happens once a year
2. The picture with the small town That's part of the cinco-Terra towns in Italy I visited them last year and walked the path between the cities, over the mountains... SPECTACULAR
3. With me in the picture... that was San Sebastian in Spain... absolutely the best town I've been to, so clean and quiet, amazing food and spectacular views and beaches... a true paradise
4. The last shot of the beach and the cliff that was in Mexico - Tulim to be exact there is a Mayan city above the cliff and then a drop to one of the most gorgeous beaches I've seen in my life, we dipped in for 15 mins and held up the whole bus going back to the resort

For me, it has to be the south of France. It's very rustic and simple and close to nature. The Japanese have a term, wabisabi, which refers to the beauty of imperfection and simplicity. Provence is very wabisabi

This is a photograph of the Phosphorescent Bay sometimes called Bioluminescent Bays that I visited in 2001 on a trip to puerto rico. Its incredibly hard to take pictures of it but what you are seeing in the picture is a person lying in the ocean at night in pitch blackness waving their arms. The blue glow comes from microscopic organisms in the water that light up when they are stirred up. If you take a handful of water and dump it onto the floor of the boat you are on , the organisms will twinkle and flash almost like fireflies. It looks exactly like the water has bluish green sparks in it. The most incredible part was when they allowed us to swim in it. If youve ever watched people swim before you can see where they kick and splash their arms there will be white bubbles, but in this bay instead of frothy water all you see is a surreal glow.

This was nothing like I have ever seen in my lifetime and I highly recommend anyone looking for some amazing natural phenomena go to Puerto Rico and check it out. Unfortunately I did not take this picture, none of mine came out because of the unusual lighting.

Im not sure exactly where it was, I was with a guided tour so they took care of the driving. The first time I went to Puerto Rico though I was near Ponce, so it wasnt too far from there if i remember correctly.

Ive got some other pictures, ones that I've taken myself from my trip to the Puerto Rican rainforest and a few others, Ill see if I can dig them up somewhere.
