i remember a post not to long ago about scientist altering the genetics of cows to resist disease.. i stated that i hate when they start playing God because things always seem to go wrong... most people disagreed with me.
this article helps to back up what i said.. this stuff scares the crap outta me! we're not ready for this.

workinman, you are absolutely entitled to your opinion. And yes, of course there are articles that back up your opinion. I'm sure I could find articles to support my view of supporting research such as this.

I don't think this should be a "I'm right, you're wrong" type of argument. I think it's counterproductive. That's just my 2 cents. =)

i hear what your saying peachy! i don't know why but i am totally against this stuff... hopefully time will prove that we do know what we're doing and i'm just 'old school' in my way of thinking!

There's nothing wrong with being old school. LOL! And being cautious about something so new is not a bad thing!! Even though you're old school, you're willing to be open minded that this might be ok in the future. That's a great attitude!!
