
For many people price is no longer the only factor when buying goods – a company’s environmental and social policies also have a big influence, so to help consumers figure out which companies are on the good and the naughty lists, the website Scyrve have launched a web browser and web tools that show the CSR score of a business while you browse their web pages.
Once installed, users see a 1 to 10 (10 is best) company responsibility rating in the top right corner of their browser (whether the company wants it there or not). If you want to see why the company is rated that way, or if you want to see if the company takes care of the environment, its employees and the communities it serves, just click on the icon.
