Hi everyone,
I just recently discovered this site and am having fun.
At 41, I developed a dinosaur exhibit, taught middle school science, restored prairies and thoroughly remodeled an apertment building.
My wife and middle school aged kids are very understanding as I go through the mid-life process of building a solar hot water installation business. I feel like a fish out of water with the business side but the technical side is fascinating.
I hope that environmental and energy issues are at a tipping point. With few people paying much attention now, hearing about global warming and foreign wars over oil will convert the ignorant in time.

I won't post my picture, but trust me, I'm adorable. I am a wife and a mother of three teens. We've always tried to keep our family green, focusing mainly on litter (we would love to save the world, but we can only do our little part.). Living in the country has lots of advantages, as far as being garbage freaks is concerned. We live only a few miles away from the dump, which serves as a good reminder. We buy from local farmers, which means less packaging. Our water is from a well, which helps us to remember to reuse 'gray' water. And it's not uncommon to see anyone in our community walking down the road with a bag to clean up litter.

Yes most of my work is done with recycled material.
I usually pick up things from the lake and make installations with them.
I'll try to find some pictures.
