Darwin wrote his seminal work "Origin of the Species" how many years ago (?) but some people think it just came out in paperback?! It amazes me how so much anger is directed poor Darwin's way. In my opinion, this "theory" has been proven many times over.

Hey Mick, check out this site, it's free, and it's interactive, that is, if you click on the various icons more information is available on climate and sea levels. It's called the Journey of Mankind and traces our path out of Africa into Asia and back to Europe over the past 85,000 years.

JOURNEY OF MANKIND - The Peopling of the World

Darwin faced lots of flak in his own day too, mostly from his friend and competitor, Alfred Wallace. If you really want to learn more about how Darwin's theory came about, I'd read some Thomas Malthus as well...
