Talking Hello from New Jersey

Hello, glad to be a part of this forum. I hope to share, learn, inspire, be inspired, etc. I write for an environmental protection site that offers easy ideas for ways to help the planet: please visit Environmental Protection Volunteer Opportunities when you get a few minutes. This is my labor of love (oh, you thought I was making $$$$??). I'm always looking for comments and suggestions, but most of all I love to hear from people who have done one or more of the suggestions. There are many suggestions, from where to recycle CDs to how to eliminate junk mail, build a solar oven, help promote environmental education for children, and give new life to old books. I'd especially like to hear from people in central NJ area---I know you're out there!

Welcome Deerwoman I spent a few months in New Jersey myself working with one of the companies cleaning up the Delaware River from that oil spill a few winters ago.

Hello Deerwoman!
I also volunteer for environmental causes - such as speaking up at town meetings about overdevelopment, sprawl, conserving open space, planning for better public transit, pedestrian walkways, making bus stops etc more accessible for disabled/temporarily able bodied persons, elderly etc.
I'm in Northern NJ.
