Re: Where to find New Members?
Hi Raptor, MountainRob here, interesting question about attracting more members. Craig's list is a good start, however if you really want lots of traffic, get to the first page of the search engines for relevent terms. That's where the big numbers are, if you want, I can help you with this. Drop me an e-mail if your interested, and we'll talk. ---Rob

Im a member of a number of site with a large population of activists, vegetarians, vegans, environmentalists, etc....If you want I could post this link on my profiles and create threads on those sites suggesting they check this out.
Also, theres always protests/benefits/rallys/ happening here in Vancouver and postering is a BIG thing. So if you have a printable design, I have a photo/inkjet printer and LOTS of paper and can make glossy posters as well (I could buy the glossy paper), I have the time and I can recruit my friends here in this city and friends from cities around here to help poster about this site, if youd like, we are always up for this kind of thing. Email me and let me know if youre interested in that plan.

You could also request that those members who have websites place a link to yours and maybe a mention in a blog, including the link. I am in the midst of making a new site and would be happy to plug your site on it once its up, if you like.

Hi Ryan, that would be great if you could mention it on some other sites... I only have so much time in a day and it's hard trying to promote the site... it would be a great idea to try to poster the site but I don't have any money right now to do that... how much do you think it would cost? I can get a design done that's no problem, but I'm talking about the man power and printing...
let me know and thanks for the help

Something seems to be working since people seem to be joining every day. It's good to know how resourceful people can be.
