Default Personal, Portable Solar Panels

Solar panels that fit in your pocket are ideal for today’s world, when most people carry at least two different electronic devices on them at all times. Soleitec, a Korean company, is manufacturing a few versions of a foldable, portable set of photovoltaic panels. The operating voltage ranges from 1.2V to 3.7V, and is enough to charge a cell phone for two hours of use. Newer versions of these panels are thinner, smaller, and produce more power. They also come with a belt clip for easy portability, as well as a retractable cord. Imagine hearing, “oops, I forgot my solar panels,” instead of “oops, I forgot my cell phone charger!”

So you just wear it and it charges your phone? Or do you have to set it up somewhere. Also, what if you live in a place that isn't very sunny, like Michigan. : ) I don't really know a lot about solar panels, but the idea intrigues me.
