Re: Mac and Cheese
Im not sure if there are whole sales in CA, but I bought Annie's Mac & Cheese at Cosco. 15 boxes for $10 , which is very cheap! Cheaper than individual boxes.

Re: Mac and Cheese
wow, that is a great price. It is quite a bit less than they sell on their website. I love Annie's products.
Be sure to check out their crackers and graham crackers. My kids love them, and I do too.

Re: Mac and Cheese
I too love adding a little bit of heat to my mac and cheese. Annie's is pretty widely available - even in my Iowan grocery store!

Re: Mac and Cheese
Is this the same brand that makes the organic version of spaghetti o's? I think that is the name that I just purchased for my kids to try.

Re: Mac and Cheese
if you have a Von's or Safeway around, the "O" brand natural white chedder mac and cheese is litterally the best I've tried yummmm.

Re: Mac and Cheese
Annie's also makes a microwavable version, similar to Easy Mac. It got me through boarding school in the dorms!
I love to add broccoli and/or to my mac and cheese, and then top it with some breadcrumbs and parmesan and bake it like a mac and cheese casserole. I know, it's gilding the lily a bit, but it's so good, and with the extras, even one box goes a long way...

Re: Mac and Cheese
I've always been quite impressed with Annie's, as said above Safeway's O label is quite good as well, and sometimes even cheaper than the non-organic version when on a good sale.

Re: Mac and Cheese
Annie's mac and cheese is great. This is what I do for an excellent taste treat. If you use Tuno, vegetarian tuna that tastes too "tuna" for me, use half the "roll" and add it to your mac and cheese as soon as it is done. Let it sit about five minutes, then plate it with some peas or perhaps some nice steamed carrots. You'll love it! (The other half of the roll I make into "tuno" salad [mayo, sweet relish, dill, garlic] that my hubby loves on soda crackers.)
