That's very true as well. If the initial cost doesn't go down then most people aren't going to want to spend their spare money on something they figure they could go without. There has to be a balance that creates incentives toward going solar.

One thing that the government could do is increase the tax breaks for people who do go solar. Here in Arizona the state could also offer tax breaks because we're one of the few states that gets the sunshine about 90% of the year.
