I'm in the same position, tater. I have a sunroom attached to this house and for some reason they only put blinds on part of it, so I need ones for the rest. One I need is for a window about twelve feet high and eight feet wide though and I'm scared to price them LOL.
I have to do it though before winter comes or it'll be really bad for letting the cold in, never mind the heat just now. Let me know if you find anywhere good please! All I want is a roller type blind. |

I think we should keep this in mind when making alterations to a house. We had huge French windows put in at my mum's house, it gives a lovely view of the garden, but it makes the room too hot. We have overcome this with blinds and a canopy but I think we should have given it more thought at the planning stage.

A few years ago we went to Las Vegas and I was totally impressed with the curtains at the casino we stayed at. The side of the curtains that faced outward had some kind of thick material that let hardly any light or heat at all come in. I'm sure that's needed where lots of folks work at night and sleep during the day and it's so hot through alot of the year. I've tried to track down those kind of curtains, but I've had not luck. Anybody know what I mean?
