A friend of mine is working on the GM hybrids, he says thats how they plan to get theirs, but he also is sceptical. He mentioned getting it from Alcohol, and methane as possibilities. The sterling engine people claim to get their efficency that way as well. The reality of efficency comes in the phase shift. Fugacity of materials etc...
