That;s music to my ears after seeing all these horror stories about transit systems around the world. Now if only they could all follow the same idea, the world might be just that little bit better.

Yes, it is great because it burns so clean.

I know.

We've got a few bio diesel buses, the new hybrid buses and a couple of CNG buses(whatever they are), and unfortunately, some really old buses still out there.

Minneapolis/St. Paul's transit system seems to work really well. Granted, I don't know of any of them going hybrid yet, but they're very popular and keep a lot of people from wasting gas first to get to their destination, and then driving around trying to find a parking sppt!

The sad thing in Toronto is all the buses that are sitting in the yards doing nothing. That's mass transit going to waste. Maybe those of you living in Toronto have seen what I'm talking about? Drive past the TTC yards and you'll see at any given yard, just how many buses, streetcars or subway trains are sitting idly by. I've noticed how many of the newer buses are sitting in the yards whereas the old, horribly pollutant buses still are out on very long routes. You'd think that they'd retire those buses and start putting the new ones out more often.

Gee, and we wonder why TTC is NOT the better way!!!
