I have little to say about the cows as I have been shocked over and over about how bad feeding the masses with beef and porc gets.

A wise man at a lecture I went to recently said "A meat eater riding a bicycle uses more energy than a vegan driving an SUV." Whether it's true or not I can't say but I would now be confident saying that the SUV-driving vegan has less environmental impact.

The thing about David Suzuki's jets, which can also be said about Al Gore's jets, and Elizabeth May's train, and Stephane Dion's jets, and other green peoples' traveling, etc. is that if these people did not travel to teach others than likely no one else would. I suppose if I wanted to have as little environmental impact as possible I would go live in a cabin in the woods of British Columbia or something. If David Suzuki had done this, all of the impact he has had and all of the lives he has changed would not have happened. Instead, all the greedy oilmen and corporates could have converted those people into total negligence for the environment. In my opinion David Suzuki has done more harm than good. Plus, I was watching the Suzuki Diaries, or whatever the new show is called, where he travels to Europe with his daughter. They used the fast-speed European trains the whole time they were there.
