Default Streaks

Does anybody use a type of reuseable fabric that can help me in cleaning but prevents streaks?! It's driving me batty. I bought the blue and white checkered ones at Canadian Tire. I've tried the chamois like ones at the showmarts. I've tried dish rags.

I know that there are much more important things to think about...but the streaks really are driving me nuts?! And I don't want to use paper towels.

Hi Peachy--This article recommends using newspaper to clean your windows and gives a simple green formula for window cleaner: Care2 Greenliving :: Window-Cleaning Formula That Really Works

I've also seen recommendations for microfiber cloths. Quote from Wikipedia on microfiber cloths: "Microfibers are not made from a renewable resource and they are not biodegradable. However, the petroleum energy used in fertilizers, pesticides, transportation and processing to produce cotton and other renewable resource fibres may outweigh direct use of the petroleum as base stock for producing fibre."

Nice. Thanks Stepper. I can't even begin to tell you how nuts I've been going about this. I've got a glass table too. EVERYDAY when I see it, and the kids have smeared their little hands on it...and I can't clean it....I just go nuts.
