Default Green Cleaning Products

So I was wondering if you guys had a favorite green cleaning product you use that you would be willing to share? Do you have a company that makes them that you think is better than another? Thanks

7th generation. My girlfriend tried the carpet cleaner and she said it's worked wonders! Haven't gotten yet...but considering what my kids have done to my carpet, I may have to get it soon.

Thank you I will have to check into them. I to could use a good carpet cleaner and I like the fact that it would be better for the kids considering that they are always on the carpet playing. Thanks again.

Does anybody know where on the Internet I would go to find out what cleaning products are green? I would like to make sure that I am at least being green if possible. Right now I use Tide with Fabrice because my mother suffers with complete confidence of her bladder.

There are a lot of green websites out there. Google green cleaning products and there are several to choose from. A cleaning product that works really well and has been around a long time is Simple Green. I remember when I worked in a Home Depot they sold this stuff like hotcakes.

There are many books available on making your own cleaning products. Many of the recipes are made with simple household items such as baking soda and vinegar.
There is a product called Bi-O-Kleen that I really like.

I checked into the seventh generation products and they look really great, thanks. Another one I have found and if anyone has used them I would love to hear what you think of them is Sun & Earth? They also have quite a few products on the market now. Thanks

Thanks, I will have to check out Earth Friendly Products. I am seeming to find out that there are quite a few that I was totally unaware of before this thread.

I didn't know Simple Green was good for the enviroment. I knew the owner's son and daughter of that company. My brothers would call the son(Don) "Donald Trump"... lol. New owners now, but I am really glad to hear this is safe for the enviroment as I love the minty smell of Simple Green... and it works SO well!

My aresenal of cleaning products are:

Method (drugstore.com)
Mrs. Meyer's (drugstore.com)
Seventh Generation (drugstore.com)
White Vinegar dilluted with distilled water
Red Vinegar, not dilluted and kept in a spray bottle
Baking Soda
Club Soda
Table/Sea Salt
Lemon Juice from lemons in my garden... I freeze the juice.
Microfiber Rags
Denture Tablets (not sure if they consitute as green though, but clean crystal really well)

Sometimes when I can't stand the smell of vinegar, I add essential oils to the mix to cover up the smell.

I use Sensaria essential oils, only because somehow I started selling the stuff. They also have a natural, or natural-based cleaner that is multipurpose (even laundry) that is really great but I like Method even more.
