Default Green businesses: What's the best advertising bang for your buck?

If you are a green business, what's the wisest way to spend your advertising dollars, and why?

Interesting question. I don't have a green business, but to my opinion would be to advertise exactly as you are doing in another thread. You've promoted your site and business, but at the same time have supported another business. I think you've done an excellent job doing both.

Well, I wouldn't recommend it if your interest is simply in making money or getting traffic to your website. The phone call to Guatemala alone cost over $300. Had I simply spent that on Google adwords, I could have had 1000 visits to my site. And then creating the interview questions, interviewing the company, and teasing the story out of those interviews required quite a lot of time and effort with nothing to show for it personally other than a few visits to my site. If you're interested in advertising "bang for you buck," that isn't the way to get it.
