Seems a bit of a waste to me to manufacture something specially to do a job that something from around the home would do, but if a hipp bag encourages people to actually do it then I suppose it's got to be a good thing!

Wow... that's a great idea!

In France, the toilets have two flushers: one for a lot of water and one for just a bit. I still don't really know how to save water when washing dishes, though. That's probably when I use the most.

Being aware of water usage is a good first step! Don't rinse things under a running tap, and use the smallest bowl you comfortably can.

And of course you can use the washing up water on the garden afterwards.
