There will always be science that we are unaware of -.- Thats why technology gets more advanced...

But flying cars isn't something that we will see anytime soon. The concept of a flying car comes with several new factors. Our entire transportation system relies on what we have on the ground, if we develope a flying car a whole new system will need to be created and that will take A LOT of time.

I like that solar-powered fan cap although I would like to make one modification. I would like to combine that with one of those hats with the clapping hands and if those were solar-powered they would be clapping constantly. At least you could wear it at a ballgame.

I read and read and could not believe that such kind of solar powered things are actually available. Seems like even the computer or the sell phone charger will be solar powered one day...
I liked the fan but reading all the above posts...seems they dont work too welll....

Yeah, I agree. Encouraging people to smoke, when they're supposed to become green & healthy, is ironic. Such contradictory gadgets should not be given patents.

Attention KMart Shoppers; Solar Bull in Isle 9, mop up sunshine? ; Isle 9

In true commercial fashion; you see a wide range of what I all stupid stuff popping up. green this and solar that. I suppose that on one level it creates exposure to new technology and ideas but on another level, all the crap that fills the land fill now will have a green label or function. It still doesn't last longer it's cheap and disposable. OK so it doesn't use many batteries. Is it any more green if it's cheap, inadequate and disposable junk. Just because it has a green function doesn't mean it was made green. Particularly if it was amde in China; the worlds largest polluter or Taiwan or wherever for that matter.

I agree that there are useful; quality green products with a positive green function. It takes self control and discernment of the buyer to determine the true carbon and other costs of the products they buy.

Like the old saying goes "Science-Fiction of today is science fact of tomorrow!". And if you take a look at technology and science fiction you will see that this is very true. So, one day we will have flying cars. The question is, when?
