The human race has entered into the new millennium with great expectations of what futuristic products will become available to them. While flying cars and teleportation devices may still be well out of our reach, solar gadgets are going from being far fetched to becoming intertwined into our everyday use.

I've seen the solar fan advertised before. It actually looks like a great idea for summer.

You moved the topic but not the response.

What did I say, I've seen the solar fan advertised before? Looks like a good idea for the summer. Supposed to keep the interior at least 10 degrees cooler than without it.

I just had to laugh when i saw the solar powered cigarette lighter. An environmentally friendly product that supports carcinogen consumption. How ironic.

Yes, and oh the ironies of an environmentally friendly cigarette lighter


That solar fan doesnt work by the way, ive seen more than one review of it on tv and its all junk. Too small to cool an entire car. Maybe if you bought 4.

hehe I know I was debating whether to include that one... but the article is supposed to be about the most unusual solar gadgets...

As for the fans that's just it they're only $10 a pop so buying 4 would be a problem... I'll have to try them next year.

ya def... it's winter here now so no use trying now but I will in the summer for sure... if anything you can say you're driving a greener car
